Ordering & Custom Orders
Do you offer custom orders?
Absolutely!
Custom creations are at the heart of Scorpion Rose Designs. Whether you have a fully developed vision or just the beginning of an idea, I'd love to help create something meaningful that's uniquely yours.

How does the custom order process work?
Every custom project begins with a conversation.
Share your ideas, inspiration, event details, colors, photographs, logos, or anything else you'd like incorporated into your design.
Once we've discussed your project, you'll receive a personalized quote. After your quote is approved and payment is received, your project moves into production.
Do I receive a proof before production begins?
Yes!
Whenever appropriate, you'll receive a digital proof before production begins.
Please review your proof carefully for:
- Spelling
- Dates
- Personalization
- Colors
- Layout
- Overall design
Every custom order includes up to three complimentary revisions.
Additional revisions beyond the first three are available for $5 per revision.
Once production begins, additional changes may no longer be possible.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Orders may be changed or canceled before production begins.
Once production has started—particularly for personalized, custom, or Print-on-Demand products—changes and cancellations may no longer be possible.
If you need assistance, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order.
Can I use my own photos, logos, or artwork?
Absolutely!
You may submit:
- Family photographs
- Pet photos
- Business logos
- School logos (with appropriate permission)
- Memorial photos
- Children's artwork
- Handwritten recipes
- Handwritten notes
- Favorite quotes
For the best results, please upload the highest-quality files available.
Can you recreate copyrighted characters or logos?
No.
Scorpion Rose Designs respects artists, creators, and intellectual property rights.
I cannot reproduce copyrighted, trademarked, or licensed artwork without authorization.
However, I'd be happy to create an original design inspired by your ideas while respecting copyright laws.
Products
Are all of your products handmade?
Many products are handcrafted right here in my Minnesota studio, while others are professionally produced through trusted Print-on-Demand production partners.
No matter how your product is created, every design is personally created or approved by me to ensure it reflects the creativity, quality, and heart behind Scorpion Rose Designs.
What products are made in-house?
Many personalized gifts and custom creations—including tumblers, pens, mousepads, journals, ornaments, keychains, cutting boards, drinkware, and specialty gifts—are designed and produced in my Minnesota studio.
As Scorpion Rose Designs grows, additional handmade products may be added.
What is Print-on-Demand (POD)?
Print-on-Demand allows select apparel, accessories, and specialty products to be professionally produced after your order is placed.
This allows me to offer a larger product selection while reducing unnecessary waste.
Every Print-on-Demand design is still personally created or approved by Scorpion Rose Designs.
Are the product photos the exact item I'll receive?
Many website images are professional mockups used to showcase designs.
While every effort is made to accurately represent the finished product, slight differences in color, scale, placement, or appearance may occur due to screen settings, monitor calibration, production methods, or the handcrafted nature of certain products.
Whenever possible, real product photos are also included.
Will my handmade item look exactly like the photos?
Every handmade creation is individually crafted.
Minor variations in:
- Wood grain
- Fabric texture
- Image placement
- Engraving depth
- Tumbler seams
- Resin flow
- Color
are a natural part of the handmade process and help make every piece truly one of a kind.

What is a Scorpion Rose Vault Treasure?
A Vault Treasure is a mystery gift experience filled with carefully curated products from Scorpion Rose Designs.
Each Vault is built around a gemstone tier that represents the value of your treasure—not necessarily the items inside.
Opening a Vault is part of the fun!
Will every Vault be the same?
No.
Every Vault Treasure is uniquely curated.
No two Vaults are guaranteed to be identical, making every opening experience unique.
Can I choose what's inside my Vault?
No.
The excitement comes from discovering what's inside!
Specific products cannot be requested unless otherwise stated on the product listing.
Is the value guaranteed?
Absolutely.
Every Vault Treasure is guaranteed to meet or exceed its advertised retail value.
The gemstone in the title represents the value tier of your treasure—not necessarily the products included.
Can I return a Vault Treasure if I don't like what's inside?
Because Vault Treasures are intentionally designed as surprise products, they cannot be returned based on product selection or personal preference.
If your order arrives damaged or contains a manufacturing error, please contact us and we'll gladly make it right.

Processing & Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
We keep shipping simple.
- Flat Rate U.S. Shipping: $10
- FREE Standard Shipping on orders of $85 or more
No coupon is required. Free shipping is automatically applied during checkout when your qualifying order reaches $85 before taxes.
How long will my order take?
Processing times vary depending on the product ordered.
- Ready-to-ship products typically ship within one week.
- Handmade and personalized items generally ship within 10–15 business days.
- Print-on-Demand products typically require 2–7 business days for production before shipping.
- Large custom or bulk orders receive an estimated completion timeline during the quoting process.
Need your order by a certain date? Contact us before ordering and we'll do our best to accommodate your timeline.
Will everything arrive together?
Not always.
If your order includes both handmade and Print-on-Demand products, your items may arrive in separate packages because they're produced in different locations.
You may receive:
- Multiple packages
- Separate tracking numbers
- Deliveries on different days
This allows your items to arrive as quickly as possible instead of waiting for every item to be completed.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes!
Local pickup is available for eligible handmade products.
You'll receive an email when your order is ready along with pickup instructions.
Please wait for your pickup notification before arriving.
Print-on-Demand products are generally not eligible for local pickup.
Do you offer rush orders?
Sometimes.
Rush availability depends on production schedules, product availability, and the complexity of your project.
Please contact us before placing your order if you have a specific deadline.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, online checkout is available only for customers within the United States.
If you're located outside the U.S. and are interested in placing a custom order, please contact us directly. Depending on the project, destination, and shipping requirements, we may be able to accommodate international orders on a case-by-case basis.
Please note that any customs duties, taxes, import fees, brokerage fees, and country-specific charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Digital Designs & Licensing
Can I purchase the digital design instead of the finished product?
In some cases, yes.
Certain custom projects may qualify for digital artwork licensing instead of a finished physical product.
This option is ideal for businesses, schools, organizations, resorts, and customers with their own production equipment.
Digital artwork is offered solely at the discretion of Scorpion Rose Designs.
What rights do I receive?
Purchasing a digital design does not transfer copyright ownership.
Scorpion Rose Designs retains ownership of all original artwork.
Your purchase grants a usage license as outlined in your individual agreement.
Can I resell, share, or modify the digital files?
No.
Unless specifically stated in your licensing agreement, digital artwork may not be:
- Resold
- Shared
- Distributed
- Uploaded elsewhere
- Claimed as your own
- Modified and redistributed
Additional licensing options may be available upon request.
Can I purchase reprint rights?
Yes.
Businesses, organizations, and event coordinators may purchase licensing or reprint rights for select custom projects.
Every agreement is customized to fit the intended use.
Returns & Refunds
Can personalized or custom items be returned?
Because personalized and custom items are created specifically for you, they cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or an error occurs during production.
Please review your proofs carefully before approving production.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged item
- Photos of the shipping box
- Photos of the packaging materials
We'll work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
What if I entered incorrect personalization?
Please review your proof carefully before approving production.
If incorrect information was submitted by the customer and production has already begun or been completed, replacement may require a new purchase.
